SAMSON Heavy Duty Radial Drilling Machines - RD Series

SAMSON Heavy Duty Precision Radial Drilling machines have a double column and are suitable for drilling, reaming and tapping. It features an all geared mechanism and the machine is made up of high quality fine grain cast iron with heavy duty ribbing to ensure extremely low vibrations.

The gear box is oil-bath lubricated with hardened precision ground Ni Cr steel gears. Models suitable up to 40mm drilling (RD 30 & RD 40) have a mechanical head and arm clamping system and models for 50mm, 60mm and upwards are equipped with hydraulic-mechanical clamping.

The machines are pre-equipped with a Heavy Duty Box Table, Electro Coolant Pump and fittings and a Quartz machine lamp.

SAMSON Universal Milling Machines

We provide a large variety of Milling Machines. Foremost among them is the SAMSON series of Universal Milling Machines. The first model available is the VHF 1 Series which also has inbuilt drilling capabilities. The working surface is 800 x 240 mm and the drilling capacity is 30 mm. It also features high spindle speeds ranging from 115 – 1750 rpm (V) and 60 – 1300 rpm (H). The spindle Taper is ISO 40.

The next model in the series is the Samson UFM 2 and UWF 2 Series. The UWF2 Series features a Swivel Head which can swivel a full ± 360°. This special type of head is also called the Huron Head. The working surface is 1120 x 260 mm and the rpm ranges from 45 – 1660 rpm. The spindle taper is ISO 40 and X,Y axes have auto feed while the Z axes too can be optionally fitted with one.

The UFM 2 Series (ISO 40 for Horizontal Milling) features a larger working surface of 1320 x 320 mm. In addition to this, all 3 axes have both rapid as well as auto feed movement. It also has high spindle speeds up to 1800 rpm. The table swivels 45° on either side and Vertical Milling Head (ISO 50) is a standard attachment. In addition to this, the X, Y axes are hardened and ground.

SAMSON FA3U & FA3U-MOA are heavy duty and rugged universal milling machines. All 3 axes provide rapid and auto feeds. The X and Y slides run in amply dimensioned dovetail guideways allowing for extreme machining loads. The Spindle Taper is ISO 50 and the spindle speeds are as high as 1500 rpm. The MOA model features a Motorised Over Arm. This is the vertical milling head system with an independent motor and speeds upto 2000 rpm with an ISO 40 Taper. The head can rotate 360° as well.

All machines can be fitted with D.R.O.s on all axes.

SAMSON Vertical Milling Machines - VFM Series

SAMSON Vertical Milling Machines are heavy duty rigid machines with a spindle taper of ISO 50. Autofeed is available on all axes.

SAMSON VFM2 Milling Machines have a working surface of 1320 x 320 mm and the spindle speeds range from 58 – 1710 rpm over 12 steps. It has hardened and ground wide rectangular guideways and the table is hardened and ground as well. The Z axis has a rapid motor and the Head Swivels 45° on either side.

SAMSON FA3V Milling Machines are extra heavy duty with a standard working surface of 1320 x 320 mm which can be optionally increased to 1600 x 320 mm. The spindle speed ranges from 30 – 1500 rpm with a total of 18 steps. All feeds are equipped with autofeed as well as a rapid motor. The Head Swivels 45° on either side. In addition to this, the structure is extremely rigid with a cross ribbed box type column structure. This rigid structure ensures vibration free and smooth machining.

ARMSTRONG Ram Turret / M1TR Milling Machines

Ram Turret Vertical Milling Machines are often called the Die Makers Dream for their simplicity, accuracy and ability to mill at complex angles. They are also called as M1TR milling machines. KENT Hydraulic Surface Grinders - KGS Series

KENT is a 45 year old company and they are one of the largest manufacturers of Surface Grinders in the world. KENT hydraulic precision surface grinders are available in a wide variety of sizes and features. The range starts from 500 x 250 mm and goes up to 3000 x 900 mm. Models up to 800 x 400 mm are of Saddle Movement Type and 1000 x 500 mm upwards are of Column Movement Type.

They are further available in two variations, namely the ‘A’ and ‘D’ Type. ‘A’ type machines have their table longitudinal movement driven by a Hydraulic Cylinder, while the Crossfeed movement is driven by AC motor. The ‘D’ Type models additionally have an Auto Downfeed mechanism which is provided with a Ratch Wheel Mechanism controlled by Hydraulic Cylinder.

The structure used is of high grade cast iron and is internally stress relieved to ensure rigidity and to stabilize accuracy. The dynamically balanced cartridge spindle is totally enclosed and grease lubricated to increase the life of the spindle. The machines provide a high degree of precision & tolerance regarding parallelism, squareness, flatness & spindle runout. The X & Z guide ways are turcite lined for smooth operation.
