SANKH was started in 1989 by Surekha Sharma the premise that companies didn't have to spend a lot. In the late '90's, while working for a supply company, she recognized the need among her customers for smaller quantities, particularly in jute and cotton bags which often had high minimums and required too much storage space in customer's offices.
