CHAIL
It was summer capital of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala.At a height of 2150 mts.(7054 feet) has the highest cricket ground in the world,its pitch is surrounded by tall forest trees.The surrounding woods are the home of barking deer,wildfowl,pleasant and a large variety of birds,for the wildlife enthusiast.



FAAGU

NALDEHRA (22 Km) 2044 m
Motorable on Shimla Tattapani road. This is a nine hole golf course. It was designed by the british viceroy, Lord Curzon who was so enchanted by this place that he gave his daughter Alexanadra, Naldehra as her second name. Ancient NAg temple is also Situated here.


TATTAPANI
Is is situated at a height of 656 mts.(2150 feet)and has Hot Water Sulphur Springs.The natural sulphur springs are Invigorating and have Curative Powers..



MASHOBRA and CRAIGNANO
A place of unique beauty is the Oak and Pine retreat of Mashobra,at an altitude of 2149mts.(7000 feet).It is unbeatable for an ideal interlude beneath Oak and Pine.
Craignano is at a height of 2279 mts.(7800 feet).A windind path leads through the forest of Pines up at a gentle incline to the breath-taking beautiful gardens filled with flowers like Daffodils,Hyacinths,asphodels and calandine,amidst clumps of trees,in the spacious lawns are stone benches and lovely picnic spots.

JUBBAL ( 90 Km) 1892 m
Headquarter of the earstwhile princely State, Jubbal has a superbly maintained Palace which was designed by a french architect in the 1930 and is remarkable mix of European and ingligeous styles.
