Silica Gel Granules / Spheres
Noble Silica Gel is highly porous, amorphous & high capacity adsorbent granules. The internal structure is composed of inter connected microscopic pores which hold water, hydrocarbons, alcohol etc. The adsorption capacity is 40 % of their own weight of water. Silica Gel is chemically inert, non toxic, dimensionally stable & non corrosive.

Noble Silica Gel Self Indicating (Blue) is normally used as an Indicator in Transformer Breathers and moisture absorption in sealed containers / vessels. Originally it comes in dark blue color (without moisture) & while absorbing moisture it turns in to pink color shows an indication that it has to be replaced or time for regeneration.

Noble Silica gel Non Indicating (White), an amorphous form of silicon dioxide. It is synthetically produced in the form of hard irregular granules (having the appearance of crystals). The micro porous structure of interlocking cavities gives a very high surface area (800 square meters per gram) making silica gel a high capacity desiccant.

Water molecules adhere to the gels surface and exhibit a lower vapor pressure than the surrounding air. When equilibrium of equal pressure is reached, no adsorption takes place. Higher the humidity of the surrounding air, the greater will be amount of water that is adsorbed before reaching equilibrium. In higher humidity conditions (above 50% Relative Humidity), stored or in-transit items are susceptible to damage. The unique quality of silica gel is the physical adsorption of water vapor into its internal pores with no by products or side effects or chemical reaction. When it gets saturated with water vapor, silica gel shape remains unchanged and has the appearance of a dry product

Silica Gel Sachets
Noble manufacture various ranges of standard size silica gel sachets using Non-Indicating (White) or Self-indicating (Blue) silica gels. In the latter case, the colors of the gels are visible through the sachet paper or fabric. Self-indicating silica gel (blue) sachets are often useful in test situations, to confirm the suitability of the sachet size chosen, or in cases where an item is frequently inspected and the sachet can be replaced if it has become exhausted. Sachets are manufactured as standard in a heat-sealed non-woven fabric made from 100% viscose fiber with an acrylic binder and polyamide coating. All sachets are printed with Desiccant Silica Gel Do Not Eat. We manufacture various sachet ranges in heat-sealed non-woven fabric and in cloth fabric as under –

Noble Silica Gel Sachets is available in 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 40, 50, 100, 250, 500 & 1000 gram. We can also supply as per your required size also.

Silica Gel Column Chromatography
For more than 51 years, we have used our silica gel technology to provide consistent high-quality media for chromatographic separations. Noble Column Chromatography silica gel is available in a wide variety of pore size and particle size distributions with excellent mechanical and structural properties.

The mixture to be analyzed by column chromatography is applied to the top of the column. The liquid solvent (the elutes) is passed through the column by gravity or by the application of air pressure. Equilibrium is established between the solute adsorbed on the adsorbent and the eluting solvent flowing down through the column. Because the different components in the mixture have different interactions with the stationary and mobile phases, they will be carried along with the mobile phase to varying degrees and a separation will be achieved. The individual components, or elutants, are collected as the solvent drips from the bottom of the column.

Noble Silica Gel Column Chromatography is available in 60-120, 100-200, 200-400 & 230-400 mesh. We can also supply as per your required size also.

Activated Carbon Granules / Extrudes
Noble Activated Carbon Granules manufactured from finest grade of coconut Shell. Due to coconut shell, activated carbon granules have very high hardness and low attrition losses. Due to high hardness, activated carbon granules are especially suitable for high pressure and large volume D.M. Plant Filters.

Noble Activated Carbon Granules are excellent in removing process impurities. Sometime Impurities are eliminated or sometime pure substances get preferentially absorbed which could be eluted. Activated Carbon Granules are useful in deodorizing and de-oiling of compressed gases, separation of rare gases, enhances the aroma of Portable alcohol, removal of oil from condensates, de-chlorination of process water, Solvent recovery, air purification, purification of water etc.

You can regenerate activated carbon granules by back washing with D.M. water and occasionally by super heated steam in (Reserve Direction) counter current direction. It increases the life of the activated carbon granules to a great extent.

Noble Activated Carbon Granules is available in 4 x 8 Mesh, 8 x 16 Mesh & 8 x 30 Mesh.

Noble Activated Carbon Extrudes is available in 3 to 4 mm.

Inert Alumina Balls
Inert Alumina Balls were introduced to the Chemical and Petrochemical Industries. The application of Inert Alumina Ball is necessary where the ball inertness, high chemical purity and thermal and mechanical shock resistance are important like thermal reservoirs, supporting beds in catalytic and other petroleum refining and petrochemicals plant application, and over burden to prevent gas or liquid streams from carrying away desiccant / adsorbents.

Noble Inert Alumina Balls are suitable as a catalyst reactor and desiccant bed support, or for ballast under exposure to high temperature or severe corrosive conditions. The high chemical purity and inertness of the ball minimizes the possibility of catalyst contamination and adverse side reactions. The Inert Alumina Balls offer good resistance to heat shock, mechanical shock & abrasion. All sizes are carefully screened before packing; however, some chips and chipped balls may be present in all size.

Benefits / Advantages of Noble Inert Alumina Balls
  • Noble Inert Alumina Balls are long lasting because they are inert and can withstand exposure to most environments.
  • Noble Inert Alumina Balls is smooth and the smoothness provides low pressure drop characteristics, eliminating the need for additional operating pressure.
  • Noble Inert Alumina Balls have good thermal shock properties and very good resistance to the mechanical and abrasive actions found in catalyst support systems.
  • Noble Inert Alumina Balls do not produce fines & dust to contaminate the product stream.
  • Noble Inert Alumina Balls are unaffected by either oxidizing or reducing atmospheres at temperature well below the softening point. The balls are also practically insoluble in almost all aqueous acid and alkaline solutions.
  • Noble Inert Alumina Ball is available 1 mm to 50 mm onwards.

Deoxo Catalyst
The Noble Deoxo Catalyst combines oxygen with hydrogen (catalystically under reducing condition) to form water vapor and operates at temperature from –40oC to approximately 600oC. The gases treated may be hydrogen or any inert gas in which there is a quantity of hydrogen approximately 0.25 % v.v. minimum in excess of stoichiometric. Such inert gases can include Nitrogen, Argon, Helium and the other noble gases, Carbon Dioxide etc. The maximum recommended oxygen removal is 3 % per pass.

The removal of gaseous impurities by chemical reaction over a catalyst is normally accompanied by the release of heat i.e. it is an exothermic reaction.

Approximately 235oC theoretical temperature rises for removal of 1 % v/v oxygen from Argon.

Please note that although the theoretical temperature rises will provide a good guide to the Catalyst Purifiers exit temperature, the actual temperature will depend on the heat capacities of the other gases present and the heat losses to the temperature.

Noble Deoxo Catalyst is Tablets (3mm x 3 mm) and Spheres (2 mm to 4 mm) size.
