Molecular Sieves 3A
Noble Molecular Sieves Type 3A is synthetic crystalline Molecular Sieves having three dimensional potassium alumino-silicate frameworks with interconnected cavities. Access to these cavities is through pores of uniform diameter of 3Ao (angstroms).

Noble Molecular Sieves 3A adsorbs Polar Molecules with effective diameter less than 3Ao e.g. H2O, NH3, while they exclude molecules with effective diameter greater than 3Ao like olefins, n-paraffin etc.

Noble Molecular Sieves 3A is specially used for drying of unsaturated hydrocarbons streams or polar liquids like Cracked Gas, Acetylene, Acetone, Propylene, Methanol, Butadiene, Ethanol, IPA, THF, MDC, MEK, Xylene, Methylene Chloride, Ethyl Alcohol, Tetra-Butyl Ether, Drying of N2-H2 mixture produced by cracking NH3, CO2 & Methane Gas etc.

In liquid phase application all liquids should be drained off and evaporated from the adsorbent bed before thermal regeneration.

Noble Molecular Sieves 4A is specially used for drying of a variety of hydrocarbons streams including polar liquids like Benzene, Hexane, Kerosene, Chloroform, Methylene Chloride, Naphtha, H2- rich gas, hydrocarbon-rich gas and reformer-recycle gas. Removal of Ammonia and moisture in Purge Gas recovery Unit & Removal of Methanol & Co2 in Nitrogen Wash Unit

Molecular Sieves 5A
Noble Molecular Sieves Type 5 A is synthetic crystalline Molecular Sieves having three dimensional potassium alumino-silicate frameworks with interconnected cavities. Access to these cavities is through pores of uniform diameter of 5Ao (angstroms).

Molecular sieves may be represented by the empirical formula – M2/nO.A2O3 X SiO2.yH2O where M is the alkali metal (Calcium / sodium) cation with a valence `n’. The water of hydration can be reversibly driven off without any collapse of the crystal structure and can be replaced by molecules of other adsorbents.

Noble Molecular Sieves 5 A mainly used for adsorption of H2O, Co2 and HS unsaturated hydrocarbons in both thermal & Pressure Swing Adsorption systems like Nitrogen Generation by purification of flue gases (simultaneously removal of water and Co2). In this application 5 A offer matchless performance in pressure swing adsorption system of the inert gas generators.

Co2 removal from natural and associated gas, here 5 A provide faster rates and higher capacities. Recycle gas sweetening (simultaneous removal of H 2S and lower mercaptans) of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons.

Molecular Sieves 13X
Noble Molecular Sieves Type 13 X, the sodium form of the Type X crystal structure, is an Alkali metal alumino-silicate. Type 13 X will adsorb molecules with critical diameter up to 10 angstroms.

Noble Molecular Sieves Type 13X is used commercially for general gas drying, air plant feed purification (Simultaneously removal of H2O and CO2) and liquid hydrocarbon and natural gas sweetening (H2S and mercaptans removal). All molecules which can be adsorbed on Molecular Sieves Type 3 A, 4 A & 5 A can be absorbed on 13X.

Noble Molecular Sieves Type 13X can be regenerated for re-use by purging or evacuating at elevated temperatures. The degree of regeneration (water removal) is dependent on temperature and humidity of the purge gas, normally a temperature of 180 - 240°C is required. A properly regenerated molecular sieve can give moisture dew points below -80°C, or mercaptan or Co2 levels below 2 ppmv.

Molecular Sieves Powder 3A & 4A
In some of the drug synthesis or other etherification reactions, Noble Molecular Sieves Powder is incorporated to adsorb water in the reaction to avoid the reversible reaction and maximize the product yield. At the end of reaction Molecular Sieves Powder is filtered out.

Activated Alumina Balls / Spheres
The basic prerequisites for solid desiccant dehydration are that the desiccant be able to withstand the stream to be dried and that the stream composition and properties remain unchanged after water removal. Noble Activated Alumina performs well by these standards when used to dehydrate gases & liquids of many types. The dehydration process can be made cyclic by taking advantage of the ability of activated alumina to be regenerated thermally. The service life of activated alumina can be up to many years. Replacement of the desiccant is necessary when the drying time or dew point cannot be maintained or when the pressure drop increases to an unacceptable level.

As a desiccant, Noble Activated Alumina is capable of removing significant amount of water from liquids and essentially all water from gases and air. As an absorbent, activated alumina can perform variety of services such as removing oil vapors from compressed gases, removing acids from lubricating oil or refrigerants, removing fluorides from water etc.

Noble Activated Alumina balls are capable of drying gases to dew point below -65o C when used with high regeneration temperatures and dry gas regeneration.. In usual practice, temperature between 160 to 250oC can be required.

Noble Activated Alumina Spheres, standard size is 3 mm to 5 mm & 5 mm to 8 mm.
