concern was established in the year 2004 with a view to popularise and market
Modular Kitchens widely in and around Bangalore City. V.C. Source Marketing
(VCSM) represents the Indian company, M/s. NUPLUS, a well know name in the
field of Modular Kitchens in India. NUPLUS has developed the concept of using
materials that are Water Proof and Fire retardant keeping in view the Indian
households and the Indian style of kitchen, considering all drawbacks and
limitations of now popular Italian and other modular kitchens. Since the concept
developed and designed by NUPLUS was very useful and appealing, VCSM took
up the distributorship of NUPLUS for the state of Karnataka, beginning with
the city of Bangalore.
With the progress of business, VCSM added one more item to its list of marketing,
the chimneys. After carefully evaluating pros, advantages and disadvantages
of various chimney designs available in the market, VCSM chose the KUTCHINA
brand Chimneys. This is a product based on the German Technology (totally
devoid of filter and with auto cleaning facility) ideally suited to the Indian
recently, VCSM has added one more to its list of marketable items, the AGT
Furniture Components. Presently VCSM is using the AGT products mainly for
the Modular kitchen set ups and wardrobes. Looking at the advantages and the
wide range of application potential of AGT products have for the Indian context,
VCSM has decided to go further in designing and popularising the AGT products,
apart from exploring other possibilities of newer designs and products.
VCSM has its own team of professionally trained and skilled carpenters. It

and AGT products. The present list of customers who are using the modular
kitchens provided by VCSM are more than satisfied and are pleased with the
quality of the products and services provided.

has been adopting a rather conservative approach in publicity, except participating
in a couple of exhibitions. It has been noticed that "word of mouth"
coupled with show room explanations (which are the main means of publicity
by VCSM) has given a greater advantage in popularising the products and services.
Considering the nature of materials VCSM is dealing with, the vistas available
for designing, the popularity of products and services, it has now been decide
to take a rather unique approach in propularising these products by interacting
with various professionals.
A new approach to Marketing
As a step towards promoting the use and application of AGT products, we propose
to conduct Interactive Sessions with prospective customers/designers and give
them the presentations on AGT products, its advantages, scope of applications,
The Interactive sessions will be in four groups.
1. Interior Designers
3. Dealers / Stockiests.
4. Carpenters / Trained Skilled workers
All the invitees/participants will be selected from the membership of professionals
associations and short listed. The Office bearers of the Associations will
be consulted while listing the invitees. Involving the office bearers of the
Associations will build up a better rapport with invitees/participants. Efforts
will be made to include some office bearers to speak about the AGT products.
This will further help us establish better confidence of the participants
in us and the AGT products.
Interactions with the carpenters will help them understand the material better
and equip them with the required skill and knowledge of the materials they
are handling. This will also help and boost the skills of the carpenters to
handle varied types of furniture materials.
The Interactive sessions will be held in the evenings followed by dinner.
We plan to have 2 groups each of Architects and Designers (2 evenings) ONE
group of prospective dealers/ stockiests and one group of select carpenters
(one evening each).
The invitations sent will be followed up personally and a confirmation of
their participation will be sought. The invitees will be selected area-wise
to ensure most part of the Bangalore City is covered.
These sessions will be completely on professional / commercial basis and only
those who show genuine interest will be included.
