Sprucee as a label is started in 1995 by Mrs. Sapna Dhingra and under her leadership, it has grown leaps and bounds. This is possible due to Sapna's talent and passion for her work and her family and husband's support, which was a strong driving force to excel. She completed her schooling from Army Public School, graduation from Delhi University and is a professional degree holder of Fashion Designing from IIFT which she joined in the year 1995. After her marriage, she has joined her husband and since then, has been continuously contributing to the fashion industry with her amazing designs and styles.

Before starting her own label, she worked in a varied export houses and on leather, knits and woven hosiery. She opened her own boutique under the name Ivy in 1995, with the label Sprucee and then there was no looking back. Today, she has Sprucee, the most sort after designer store by elite class to her credit and aspires to have new outlets in other metropolitans of India.
