Specialised Surgical Mesh - Manufacturer of Monofilament Polypropylene surgical mesh for Hernia repair
Specialised Surgical Mesh is intended to assist in the repair and reinforcement of hernia and other fascial defects requiring the additional support of a non-absorbable mesh during and after wound healing. Surgical Mesh is knitted from monofilament fibers of polypropylene polymer from which surgical sutures are manufactured. The mesh measures approximately 0.022” (0.57 mm) in thickness and exhibits high burst strength and tensile strength. In the form of a surgical suture, synthetic polypropylene is reported to resist tensile strength loss indefinitely in tissue. Surgical Mesh is knitted in such fashion as to interconnect each monofilament fiber and provide bi-directional elasticity, while allowing the mesh to be cut to any shape without unraveling.


Non-absorbable & Monofilament Polypropylene Mesh is constructed of knitted filaments of extruded polypropylene.

High tensile strength and burst resistance upto 11 Kg/cm2.
This material, when used as a suture, has been reported to be non-reactive and to retain its strength indefinitely.
